CROFTON Host Network Lunch & Learn in Partnership with Virginia Talent Pipeline Program
On December 4th, CROFTON hosted a Network Lunch & Learn in partnership with the Virginia Talent Pipeline Program. This event brought together industry stakeholders to share insights and best practices in recruitment, onboarding, and retention, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of the defense and maritime industrial base.
The day wasn’t just about discussion—it was about hands-on learning too! Attendees toured our 15,000-square-foot equipment warehouse, home to our mechanic shop, weld shop, inventory, and asset management team.
They also got an inside look at our dive shop, where they explored the equipment critical to our underwater operations and learned about the rigorous maintenance protocols we follow to ensure safety—including a close-up view of our decompression chamber.
Finally, we showcased our dive test tank, a vital resource for training in underwater welding and conducting material testing.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the conversation!

With our barge-mounted crane and a skilled team of divers, we tackled the retrieval from both above and below the surface. Here’s to teamwork, problem-solving, and keeping port operations running smoothly!
