Barge Loading Facility Upgrades and Replacement

The project included the removal of the existing timber loading pier and then installation of the new timber loading pier and support structures. Installation structures included one 18x43 main timber pile supported fixed platform, two 6x8 timber with mechanical winch platforms, two 5x10 timber snatch block platforms, and over 300 linear feet of 6' wide timber pile support personnel access walkways with handrail to connect platform structures. Work was completed with the use of floating crane and all pile driving equipment necessary to perform the installation for pile templates and the installation of timber piles as well as 120ft long steel pipe piles.
