CROFTON had the pleasure of hosting students from Manor High School today, giving them a firsthand look at the exciting world of crane operations and commercial diving.
With guidance from our experienced crane operators, students climbed into the cab, pulled some levers, and got a feel for the controls—all while asking plenty of great questions. Their visit happened to coincide with an interesting lift, giving them a real-time look at the precision and teamwork that go into our operations.
Our dive team also gave them an up-close look at the specialized equipment that keeps divers safe, from helmets to decompression chambers. They heard firsthand stories from a professional diver about what it’s really like to work underwater and even watched as a diver suited up and performed underwater burning in our test tank.
It was an exciting day of hands-on learning, and we hope it inspired the next generation of skilled tradespeople!
